Description

This project is a game-ready recreation of a vintage industrial blowtorch, focusing on capturing its rugged form and aged character. The goal was to translate real-world wear and mechanical detailing into an optimized 3D asset while maintaining strong visual appeal.

The model was developed using a structured workflow that balances efficiency and realism—starting from accurate proportions and moving toward detailed surface definition. Special emphasis was placed on storytelling through materials, highlighting chipped paint, rust buildup, and usage wear to give the asset a believable history.

Designed within a ~7K triangle budget, the asset is optimized for real-time applications while retaining high-quality detail through baking and texturing techniques. Final presentation was done in a real-time environment to showcase material response and lighting accuracy.
